Introduction

The Linx Skating Club started in 1992 with the building of a much needed Ice Rink in Aberdeen.

The aim of the Club is to promote Ice Skating to all ages and standards. Many of our past and present members are competing in National and International Events.

We offer our members three Club sessions a week with tuition in free skating and ice dance. Plus an additional evening on Tuesdays, which is held jointly with the A.I.S.C.

The Club sessions are Wednesday evenings for adults and children, Saturday mornings for children and Saturday afternoons for ice dance.

The Club has adopted N.I.S.A. grade tests 1-10. For the more advanced skater there is the possibility of early morning ice at the weekend.

Some of our members take part in the Linx Lazers Synchronised Skating.
